Description
The DME Driver will be responsible for delivering medical equipment to clients in a safe and timely manner. The candidate will also be responsible for maintaining accurate delivery records, inspecting equipment, and reporting any defects or malfunctions. The DME Driver must be able to communicate effectively with clients and other members of the healthcare team. Additionally, the candidate must have at least 2 years of experience as a DME Driver, be able to lift 50 pounds or more, and have a flexible schedule.
Responsibilities
Delivering medical equipment to clients in a safe and timely manner.
Maintaining accurate delivery records.
Inspecting equipment for defects or malfunctions.
Reporting any equipment issues to the appropriate parties.
Communicating effectively with clients and other members of the healthcare team.
Adhering to safety regulations and protocols.
Lifting and transporting equipment weighing 50 pounds or more.
Maintaining a flexible schedule.
Requirements
Familiarity with the operation and maintenance of DME equipment.
